How To Focus On What Truly Matters: 5 TIPS

One of the challenges that we constantly face in life is to remain focused on what truly matters. When being pulled in different directions, how do you focus on what truly matters? 5 TIPS ON HOW TO STAY FOCUSED ON WHAT TRULY MATTERS: 1. Write out your priorities & review them regularly. One way that I remain focused on my priorities is that I have them written out. You can’t trust yourself to just ‘know‘ them. Knowing them in your mind is somewhat abstract, while writing them out makes them real. Write them out, review them regularly, even speak them aloud. 2. Get quiet. One thing that I’m continuing to…

    What are you committed to?

Do you ever take time to consider your commitments?  What are you committed to? What are your priorities?  What’s important to you?  What are you committed to no matter what comes your way? CHRISTIANS: The Fight Is On

Every day, the fight is on.  As Christians, we are: blessed, forgiven & redeemed, yet we still have to fight.  Every day. The sayings: Nobody’s life is perfect, everybody’s fighting some kind of battle, fight for what’s yours all imply that we’re fighting.  As Christians, we must understand that daily we’re in a battle.   We have 3 enemies: Our flesh, the world, and Satan.  It seems that at all times, 1 of the 3 is throwing a punch. The fight is always on.  The spiritual realm is always active, and the more we learn (help us, Lord) the more we have to fight.   The more we learn, the more…

    Reject the lies of Satan

Have you ever dealt with someone who lied to you & lied so well that you didn’t even recognize it until after you’d already been deceived? Well, as good as that person was they have absolutely nothing on Satan.  Satan is a master deceiver; the father of lies; the truth is not in him (John 8:44).  In order for us to enjoy the abundant life that Christ died for us to live, it is imperative for us to be able to identify & reject the lies of Satan. Satan is a liar, deceiver, and destroyer of all that is of God.  He is a tempter and He longs to see us disobey God…

MARRIAGE: Satan is after our kids

Why does Satan attack marriages the way he does?  Well, for many reasons because he’s evil and his whole agenda is to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10).  But why marriage?  One reason: Satan is after our kids. Satan does not have authority over us, but his sight, power, and dominion is far-reaching (Ephesians 6:12).  Satan knows that marriage provides children with a protection, covering, and security like no other and if he can destroy that then our kids are in a much more vulnerable position.   When the marriage is destroyed, our kids are much more vulnerable to his attacks and evil influences.  We know that God created our…

    WOMEN: 5 Blessings to Experience

Our lives are simply made up of all our experiences.  Our experiences make life enjoyable and worthwhile, but we don’t want to experience any and everything.  Read on for blessings you do want to experience. Stop Fighting Like That

Every battle is not yours to fight.  Often times, we’re stressed because we try to physically fight every battle that comes our way.  I’m here to encourage you today: Stop fighting like that. Explanations and proclamations are not always best.  Some people will have an issue with you regardless of what you do.  Don’t succumb to the pressures of trying to get everyone to understand you. People lying on you?  It’s not always meant for you to explain your side of the story.  This is a sure way of wasting all of your energy, instead of investing it on issues that truly matter.  Instead of fighting back, trust God.  Allow…
