MY STORY

Conceived in Los Angeles, California, born in Coffeyville, Kansas, born again in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Raised without father and mother- my grandmother took me and my brother in and loved us as her own. We didn’t have much, but in retrospect I see that was God’s plan.

When I look back over my life, I see how God always provided just what I needed during the different stages of my life. I know without a doubt that I never would’ve made it without Him. Never.

I began believing in Christ at the age of 25, and everything immediately changed for me. At 27, I graduated from Tulsa Community College with an associate’s degree in journalism. At 30, I was married and received a bachelor’s degree in communication from Rogers State University. At 32, I received a master’s degree in strategic communications from Oklahoma State University and became an adjunct professor at Tulsa Community College. At 33, I became an entrepreneur and author of BREAK FREE & LIVE!

Now is my time to serve.

My story allows me no opportunity to confuse the reason for my success. The reason is Christ. He saved me from a dark, hopeless place and I know I owe Him my life.

The Lord has chosen me to be a wife and mother of three beautiful girls. I’m humbled to lead a Kids for Christ club at their elementary school, as well as a girls Bible group for our teenage daughter and her friends.

I strive to glorify Christ in all that I do.
