My Story

Conceived in Los Angeles, California, born in Coffeyville, Kansas, born again in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Raised without father and mother- my grandmother took me and my brother in and loved us as her own. We didn’t have much, but in retrospect I see that was God’s plan.

When I look back over my life, I see how God always provided just what I needed during the different stages of my life. I know without a doubt that I never would’ve made it without Him. Never.

I accepted Christ at the age of 25 and everything changed for me. My story allows me no opportunity to confuse the reason for my success. The reason is Christ. He saved me from a dark, hopeless place and I know I owe Him my life.

The Lord has chosen me to be a wife, mother, communicator, and master’s degree holder.  I currently teach public speaking at Tulsa Community College, as well as lead a Kids for Christ club at a local elementary school. I’m grateful, humbled, and I strive to glorify Him in all that I do.

At 33, it’s no longer about me.  It’s my time to teach.  It’s my time to serve.

My Scripture:

“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”  – I Corinthians 15:10

My Mission:

Inspire women to follow Christ and be all that He has called them to be.

With Love,
