So often we view God’s way as a hindrance to getting our on way, but in actuality, obeying God’s way positions us to receive better than our way. Doing things God’s way positions us to receive God’s best for us.
Obedience brings blessings.
What prevents you from obeying? Pride, fear, uncertainty? Or, do you literally feel unable to do things God’s way, as though you’re facing an impossible feat?
We all face various challenges as it relates to obeying God, however, one thing we must agree on is that:
God’s way is best.
Once we humbly acknoweldge that indeed, God’s way is best, then we are in a position to obey. When we come to the realization that God’s way is best for us and that God really does want what’s best for us then it makes it a bit easier to obey. We have to realize that obedience brings blessings.
We all have a journey, but thank God that He is there to walk with us every step of the way (Psalm 23:4). He will never leave us, nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). Out of fear and shame, we often turn from Him, but nothing can separate us from His love for us (Romans 8:38).
Again, what prevents you from obeying? If you truly do feel unable to obey, then you may be bound by various invisible chains that have a stronghold on you. If that’s the case, BREAK FREE & LIVE! is the perfect read for you. It will open your eyes to the issues that have held you back far too long, preventing you from truly living & enjoying life. Christ died for us to live and live more abundantly (John 10:10), but we must first deal with the issues that attempt to keep us down.
God has more in store.
As you go about your day today, I pray that you are much more aware of the Holy Spirit’s presence, which aims to guide you into all truth (John 16:13). We’re all in need of a constant revealing of the truth, as we all face various attacks daily. Regardless of how hard it gets, don’t give up, don’t give in, don’t stop fighting against sin.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
– Galatians 6:9
It may not be easy, but it is worth it. As we press through, we’re always able to look back and see the lessons from the struggle. We get to take the lessons with us and they make us stronger, wiser, and well-rounded. God has plans and a hope for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep at it.
