- Are you free from the opinions of others?
- Do you quickly react to situations around you?
- Do you still feel guilty from past decisions?
- Are your emotions unstable and often negative?
- Do you battle feelings of inadequacy?
I encourage you to answer these questions honestly. Our situations won’t change until we put forth the effort to change them. If you answered yes to any of the above questions, BREAK FREE & LIVE! is a must-read.
It’s easy to seek temporary solutions that alleviate our pain momentarily. That’s the easy route, but that route won’t provide lasting change. We also like to think that money will solve all of our problems, but you won’t find any joy in money. A college education won’t do it, either. I’m a living witness.
I was married with a master’s degree and had my dream job, but guess what? I still wasn’t happy.
It wasn’t until Christ led me through my personal journey that my eyes were opened and I experienced complete freedom. I was bound and didn’t even know it. There were issues holding me back that had nothing to do with anyone else, nor any situation. The issue was with me.
The same is true for you. You must deal with and face the issues within you that are holding you back. There are issues that try to prevent each of us from living the life that Christ died for us to live.
John 10:10 tells us that Christ came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. I’m convinced that in order for us to experience that abundant life we must first deal with the issues of our heart.
