Because He rose, I live the life that I now live.
Because He rose, I am forgiven and am able to forgive.
Because He rose, my past can’t define me or control me. My past has no hold on me.
Because He rose, I am free and free to be me. I am simply me.
Because He rose, I’m new. I’m a new creature with a new mind, thinking new thoughts, doing new things.
Becuase He rose, I know I have the victory.
Because He rose, no one can stop me. Whatever He says will be. Whatever He has for me I’ll receive.
Because He rose, I can love, give, share, speak, and do all that He commands of me.
Because He rose, I’m capable, competent, and committed. I’m committed to Christ.
Because He rose, I have eternal life.
Because He rose, I know that I will also rise.
They nailed Him to the cross due to their hate and pride. They thought they won, but that wasn’t the end.
And He Rose.
And because He rose I have life. Thank you Jesus Christ.
