Summer 2018 Is Almost Over

It’s the Saturday before school starts, I haven’t blogged in over 2 months, and here I am mid-day with Weslee Nichole sleeping next to me as I update you all.  Summer 2018 is almost over.

I went to sleep early last night, well actually I fell asleep, only to wake up at 2 a.m. realizing that I needed to complete the syllabus for my course that starts on Tuesday- the Tuesday that’s 3 days from today.  I work until 7 a.m., sleep until 9, then get up to flat iron Maraya’s hair for her pom pictures.

When I look at her I’m reminded of how gracious the Lord is.  I pray she gets it too.  As the Lord moves us from season to season, we have to be intentional to remember that it hasn’t always been like this, nor does it have to stay like this.  Nothing is guaranteed in this life so I try to remain grateful and humble for all that the Lord has done.

For I know I that all that I am and all that I have is only by His grace.

As we’re closing 1 season, both naturally and spiritually, I’m excited about what’s to come, I’m focused on staying focused on what really matters, and I’m determined to be about my Father’s business.

I pray that you all have had a blessed summer 2018 and that you are ready for the upcoming school season!

Much Love,
