Don’t Let Him Capitalize

Do you realize that so often Satan simply capitalizes on things that go on in our life?  He seeks to take any opportunity and use it for his advantage.  If you let him, he will turn fatigue into depression.  A simple misunderstanding into a full blow-out.  A small irritation into a huge devastation.

Don’t Let Him Capitalize

Satan is dramatic, negative, and he simply tries to capitalize on natural occurrences in life.

We must see his tactics for what they really are & stand against them.

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

– Ephesians 6:11

Merriam Webster defines a wile as a trick intended to ensnare or deceive; skill in outwitting; trickery.

Satan isn’t obvious- he is very crafty and skillful at deceiving us.  It is only by depending on God that we will have any ability to spot him and avoid the traps that he constantly sets for us.

Daily, Satan sets traps for us.  Don’t let him capitalize.

We mustn’t let him capitalize on the natural occurrences that are bound to happen in our life.  This list may sound simple, but there are basic things that we can do that will help us to spot Satan’s schemes and stand against them.

1. Sleep well.
2. Eat well.
3. Take breaks throughout the day.
4. Express yourself.
5. Just stop.
6. Read the Word of God.
7. Praise God.
8. Adjust your perspective.
9. Confess your sins.
10. Forgive others.

Doing these things will help us stop Satan from taking advantage of our weaknesses and shortcomings.  We must be aware and intentional with how we live.  It’s important for us to understand what makes us vulnerable to the attacks of Satan.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

– John 10:10

Jesus came so that we might have an abundant life, a life that we enjoy.  We have to stop letting Satan steal our days with his antics and deception.  Don’t let him capitalize.
