Where have I been??? Let me explain..
I’m taking some time to slow down, and even stop doing some things. I want to start the New Year doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing. I want to be in align with my source- God.
I’m starting to learn that the more I slow down and let Him lead me the more effective I am. This year I want to be effective in everything I do- including writing for my site. I want to ensure that I’m in tune with my Creator and my purpose. I want to write what I’m supposed to write, not what will give me the most likes.
I recently heard someone say: “You can’t live for Christ if you’re living for the likes.” Well, I don’t want to write for the likes or for the follows. I want to write what’s on my heart and I believe that as long as I stay true to myself everything else will come- including the likes.
I believe it’s so easy to be distracted by this world that we live in. Facebook, text messaging, television, junk food, and even people distract us! I believe we should all take time to clear out so we can really spend time with our true selves. Taking time with and nurturing our true self will help us all give the world a piece of who we really are- In a good and effective way!
So, where have I been??? Taking time out. Time to refuel my mind, body, and spirit. Taking time to fuel my body with good things, including healthy and natural foods. I’m taking time to pray and seek God’s will for my life.
I’m simply devoting time to become a better Margo, a better writer.
