    How do you define living well?  Do you automatically think of what you have?  Your money and your possessions?   What’s most important to you? 2018 has been quite a year for me thus far, and I can honestly say that I’m on a journey to well living.  We should all be able to define what living well looks like to us. What does living well look like to me? Being at peace on the inside.  Being content with what I have.  Being humble & loving.  Being positive.  Being fully present in each moment.  Being free to live, enjoy, and express.  Being excited about the future.I believe that doing well…

    What controls you?  Are you controlled by Christ? There are a number of things that try to control us, but as Christians the only thing that should control us is the Spirit of God. “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.”   – Galatians 5:24-26 This tells us that though we are saved and in Christ, it is possible for us to walk in things other than Christ.  It makes sense that the Bible tells us…

    What Sin is in Your Heart?

    Are you focused on conquering the sin in your life?  What sin is in your heart? It’s so easy to focus on everything and everyone else, overlooking the fact that we have an issue with sin in our own hearts.  Most of the problems that we have can be traced back to sin.  The apostle Paul wrote the book of Philippians from prison, but he still wrote with joy and contentment: “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.”   – Philippians 4:11 This demonstrates that it’s not about our circumstances, but rather what’s in our heart.  Circumstances…
