    These 2 pictures show just one of the many changes that have occurred in my life over the past few years:   If you’ve been a long-time reader then you’ve been able to witness the major life changes that I’ve experienced.  I started the website in 2013 and at the time I was working on my associate’s degree, working a full-time job, in addition to single parenting.  By the grace of God, I’m now married with two kids and working on my master’s degree.  God has been so gracious to me.     Hello there!  I’m up late & feel like writing, so let me share 10 thoughts about me & about life @ 2:00 a.m. Here goes! 1.     Stop Fighting Like That

    Every battle is not yours to fight.  Often times, we’re stressed because we try to physically fight every battle that comes our way.  I’m here to encourage you today: Stop fighting like that. Explanations and proclamations are not always best.  Some people will have an issue with you regardless of what you do.  Don’t succumb to the pressures of trying to get everyone to understand you. People lying on you?  It’s not always meant for you to explain your side of the story.  This is a sure way of wasting all of your energy, instead of investing it on issues that truly matter.  Instead of fighting back, trust God.  Allow…

    15 Lessons I Learned in 2015

    Another year is coming to a close, so I’ll share my top lessons from the year. 15 Lessons I Learned in 2015: 1. If you don’t quit, you can.  I got pregnant my final year of college & I know many doubted me.  Momentarily I did, myself.  But I didn’t quit and I did it.  We gave birth to Keziah via c-section on April 1st and was back in class (in the front row) a week later.  I graduated with my bachelor’s, with honors, on May 9th.  I didn’t quit and I did it. 2.
