Life can be so tough and unfair at times. We find ourselves in situations and we feel so alone. We are left to raise children by ourselves and maybe the missing parent is out parenting other children. People continuously take from us without giving a thing.
We wonder why we have the short end of the stick. We wonder why no one gives us a thing. We wonder why we have to do it all by ourselves. It seems so unfair.
We cry, and crying is okay but we should cry while we fight.
We should cry while we go in prayer before The Lord. We should cry while we vent to someone we trust. We cry as we continue to put in the necessary work to move us forward.
We cry as we remember that life is sometimes not fair. We may have to carry more than just our load, but as we cry we must remember that sometimes the greatest go through the most. We cry as we remember what doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger. We cry as we remember that this situation will only make us more sensitive to another’s situation.
We must remember that the tough times make us better people!
It is so important for us to not allow hurtful situations to make us hurt, angry people. No, we cry and get the anger out but we move on as we allow God to heal our hurts and polish us off.
This is encouragement to myself, as well as anyone else who may need to hear it:
Cry while you fight. 🙂
