Before we even spoke he said he knew I was different. He knew I worked at being unrelated to average and ordinary. I asked “How?” He said #1 your haircut.
The haircut gave it away.
Fashion, hair, and clothes give us a way of expressing ourselves. People get an idea of who we are and what we stand for by simply looking at us. Don’t get me wrong, we should not judge a book by its cover, but let’s use our style to work for us and not against us.
Express yourself and show the world a piece of who you are. Don’t mislead them. Be different, stand out, stop blending in. Change your hair, color it, cut it. My motto with hair is now “It’s Just Hair.”
Change your wardrobe, change it up, buy something you wouldn’t normally wear. Go thrift shopping. Go to a store you don’t normally shop at.
Do something to show them who you are. You are different. We’re all different. Do something different. Be beautiful.
